Sounds great. Do a test implementation (one could probably be done in
Perl in a few hours) to show off its benefits (i.e., it's smaller than
gzip'd files, it's faster to decompress and render, etc), and if a
converter were made publicly available it might even be considered for
a standard. Make sure that the compression algorithm does not forbid
future growth of the language, too.
