Realm still seems artificial. The fact that the plural of metaverse is
unnatural proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is the top level.

Matrices? I discovered on Tuesday night that there are two realms
(matrices?) of IRC servers, regular and undernet. One cannot get
from one to the other.

Policy is futile. Multiple metaphors will exist.

We can organize space by IP address.
We can organize space by connectivity graphs. Space is near its links.
We can organize space by registering for certain locations within
a given matrix (I dibs 0,0,0)
(or, you can do A, I can do B...)

I like the connectivity model. This would be a very cool way to
use some of that new fangled hypergeomatrix stuff that they do
up in the land of Snow & Ice & Misquitos.

Then I can scale myslef up and hold the whole metaverse in my hand
and use some World in Miniature navigation techniques.
