Well, if you want to fight for this, please go ahead. Call me devious,
cunning (anything except an expert ;-)), but I think giving people a
general solution, and having them migrate to ISO 10646 of their own
free will is better...
Besides, in the worste case, what do you get? A series of question
marks instead of text....
