I think it is an important discussion today, I keep hearing from people who
don't bother to look at VRML files because they just take too long to
download.

I have a 64k line to my Indy, and still its not worth downloading most of
the files out there. A file of 1Mb takes 3 minutes just to retrieve, then
it has to be parsed and rendered, 5 mins if I'm lucky before I get to see
anything.

1Mb pages are almost non-existant on the Web.
