right.
it doesn't.
but it DOES reduce download time. that counts for something.
this is not a claim to be the elixir end-all of VRMLfat.

part of the probelm we're running into is that we not only have files that are soaring into the order of megabytes, but our rendering is disgustingly slow.

so james helped us to solve part of the problem.
the rest of it is still problematic.
rendering speed is pretty severely damaged by things like lighting (for example), so we'll keep you updated on what we find john.
