i agree, the strip is the concept to base the system on is a bad idea. i
am suggesting that every realm has the potential to be a top level
(sideways hierarchial systems) Realm. there is no requirement that htere
be one main RC/C. in fact, coupling infinite top level Realms with
dynamic registration of objects makes it possible for the entire thing
to exist without a centralized authority. every RC/C becomes its own
centralized authority. Every RC/C makes has its own environment
restrictions, so that whether to objects can occupy the same space is
dependant upon the Realm.

i also think that Realms like the Strip will naturally evolve like
yahoo. i would submit that there would be realms devoted to commerce,
and since the RC/C controls registration, it would be possible to insure
that all the static (or dynamic) objects were also devoted to commerce.

i am working under the concept that eventually vrml pages wont even
exist, they will always be generated on the fly like CGI scripts. (more
of argument to include object classing)

i like this discussion...and i am trying to get more specific information
about DIS, which covers alot of the distributed process management
protocol. (supposedly source code is available) they are aiming for 10k+
entities being handled at once with the next revision.
