Please consider adding acoutic properties surrounding the user - i.e.
walls etc.  The reflections off these greatly enhance the audio 
effect, making an environment sound much richer than a raw audio 
sample.  Spatialisation and acoustic room simulation (reverb, 
material dampening etc.) is something Division has been including in 
it's VR demos for the past 4 years.
