Yes, they are. The VAG has not esally said much officially. I think that my
quote may have been mined from email last summer. It's bad form to
grab that and print it without checking, but I have said things like
security
is important and Java and Safe-TCL are likely candidates.

VRML is an open standard. The actual quote I saw in email actually has
Mark saying that we would not select one language.

However, given the popularity of Java, it will most likely be the first test
case.
