the possibilities are immense -- especially once behaviors/java
kicks in to vrml.
think of the web as s muge date resource of dynamic
data -- living data...
and vrml is the way of looking at all of it.
what if aliens were writing in vrml.
what would they put instead of chairs...
nosehairs...
1 way of looking at it

even better, as we get 3-D audio in 2.0,
vrml is the way of *EXPERIENCING* all of the living web
one thing i wrote about in my
vrml chapter in html & cgi
unleashed is,
imagine if your avatar is a dog
in vrml-space. what do human
voices sound like? do you get sick
of people blowing on dog whistles?
and can't you have virtual cellular
phones and tv broadcasts transmitting
on the appropriate virtual frequencies.
furthermore, as we get our WWWAnchors in place
with event triggers akin to portals,
we have *SEAMLESS* cyberspace
*CLICKLESS* cyberspace
there will be common culture cyberspace +
there will be personal view cyberspace

*GROW* cyberspace< vrml objects
feed on one another
spew into a new
dis-continuum
