Validation (was Re: Apology.)

I absolutely agree for standards and validation. Sometime before Glen and
crew had come up with the test suite, you'll recall I was asking if we had
validation and standardized testing data. I think an industry consortium may
help here to agree on a standardized test suite and validation methodology.
