A Translation node only has a translation field. Try the following:

Separator {
Translation {
translation 10 0 0
}
Rotation { # Put before Translation for local rotate
rotation 0 1 3.14156
}
FontStyle { size 15 }
AsciiText {
string "NSF Purdue University" spacing 2}
}

To view the back, Try adding the following node after the top separator
