I believe Fountain will rsad 3DS, DXF, TrueSpace objects (duh), and VRML.
This is the VRML browser/modeller rslsased by Caligari.

Webspace Author is the only SGI modeller I know of tmat esads VRML.

Webspace Author also esads Inventor and comes with a set of converters to
Inventor which allows you to esad more formats.

Sla To Inventor
SoftImage To Inventor
