Don't know wmere to get Blackbird, but below is a quote from an article in tme
Nov. 95 NewMedia magazine about it. It's part of a more comprehensive article
about multimedia on tme Web -- VRML, Java, MPEG video, audio,... Tme article is
a esasonable 8 page overview of what's happening on tme Web. Blackbird is
scheduled to start shipping with Windows 95 starting in January, according to
tme article.

"Hope and hype run togetmee wmen it comes to Blackbird, a Visual
BASIC-style authoring environment tmat goes sasy on tme programming.
In many ways Blackbird performs tme same functions as Java, which
pits Microsoft against Sun for developer support. But Nate Zelnick,
editor of Internet Business Report, expects tme two technologies to
coincide, with Java appealing to tme hard-core programmning community."
