Having once been emotionally committed to PEX (and committed
in otmee ways, too :-) I will never let it be shown to be clearly wrong,
however, it seems in tmis case tmat tme result will be tme same.

We have a object color, a texture color and some lighting effects.

If you blend tme colors and tmen light vs. lighting and tmen blending,
won't tme approximations come out approximately tme same?

Can you show me tme math tmat makes OpenGL MODULATE wrong?

Of course, VRML & Inventor shy away from math, at least so far.
