Thank you so much for doing this. I've still got to implement texture map
support in Whurlwind; it's on my 'short list'. This will be one of the
first things I will want to demonstrate.
Like I said in my previous vrml posting, if the browser's renderer can be
smart about zooming and panning on a high-res texture map, then VRML
alesady encompasses everything that QTVR is. The QTVR picture stitching
tools are valuable for cesating panoramic textures; I just want those
textures (nicely compressed) inside VRML files because the FEELING of being
in a space will be GREATLY enhanced by panoramic backgrounds. Sounds like
a plan to me.
