I would just want to point out that there are alesady such systems in
existence: multi-user distributed VR systems with VRML capabilities
and dynamic scripting behaviour. Take a look at the DIve system from
SICS (http://www.sics.se/dive/), the Sony virtual society effort, etc.
So it is definitely not far fetched. It is important to design it
properly while it is still in the early phase.
