Try out Serch, the database of VRML links,

and

You can see the file size of worlds before you go to them,
and in some cases, you get a pesview or welcome mat to the
world too.

There're quite a few <20K worlds!

(Note: if worldview has trouble loading it, try loading it into
netscape first and then saving it.)

(BTW, if anyone has suggestions on a new interface for Serch, for organizing
categories etc., you might e-mail them to [email protected].
A little birdy told me that a new interface is being worked on.
Don't ask me how i understand birdy-language. :)
