By way of introduction, my name is Vincent Cirel, and I work for the
Univ. of Ala @ B'ham. See my sig.
I have been playing around with VRML for about a month now and
closely following this list for about two weeks.
FYI - Any 3D studio afficianados that have not tried Keith Rule's 3D
conversion program, should do so. I've ported several of my 3ds files
to VRML and they look great.
Thanks Keith !
Now - on to the point :
I have several applications in mind related to medical imaging
involving VRML. I am an experienced Win programmer with Visual
C++... yada, yada, yada. In any case, I would like to get my hands on
the source code for a VRML browser. VRweb from umn.edu will be
available in several weeks, but I would like to get somthing before
then if possible. Strictly non-profit, interna, and any useful mods will
be made available to all.
Hope I'm not too far off bas> with this.
Thanks for the time and keep up the chatter.
