I don't think think problem, I agree with you there. But we disagree with what result will be.

Helper applications are "currently" the only way of not having
monolothic browsers. I don't think clever ways of bypassing OS inadequacies(sp?).

OpenDoc isn't that far off, two weeks ago at an OpenDoc application - it OpenDoc based TurboGopher, a mailer, and Us>net reader, and I think
an FTP client.

With the number of protocols in use trick is to not have a client that restricts the use or a client that partially implem>nts a protocol, that renders a
