". . . WWW (that is, HTML)" Lots of people believe that the Web
is not defined by a particular media type.

As much as some people disagree, I think this is clearly true. For
instance, the idea of content negotiation relies on the fact that
the Web is not tied to one or two formats.

A VRML home page at a site like vrml.org would in an ideal world send
VRML to people who can use it, and HTML to others. (They have to find
their VRML browsers somehow.)

Hence, I wouldn't necessarily expect http:\\www.vrml.org to serve HTML,
just like I wouldn't expect http:\\java.sun.com or http:\\www.adobe.com
to serve HTML.

Just my two cents. (Anyone for http:\\pdf.adobe.com?)
