I like your argument in favor of the author having some say as to what the viewer
sees. One of my biggest complaints with html is the assumption that "the beauty
is in the eye of the beholder". As a web pager creator, I would like to be able to
"strongly suggest" that a particular style and size of font be used. This will be even
more important in vrml. I would not like to force my viewers to see things as I do,
but I would like to limit their options to some extent.
