Heh. We're OK.
There is more I'd like to see discussed on this subject, since I think it
is central to what I consider to be the next big area we will be involved
in (after the static spec is out), but I am already getting complaints
about too much posting, so I'm shutting up (again). You guys can go back
to arguing about which way is up, while the mailboxes cool off. I swear,
I've never seen so many folks on a mail list who are so intent on NOT
getting mail.
BTW: I've been accused (privately) of being rather technically "content
free". I may not be quite as technically adept at the ins and outs of
graphics, but I think I am making some valid points. I figure I'm
providing you guys with the nudges you need to discuss some of the things
which we will encounter. Without this influence, we might not have things
like animation, or text, until the second release. Why wait? Just because
I'm not the one fixing the errors or omissions, I don't think I should
lose the opportunity to contribute.
