Yup, but the mechanism through which this is implemented (OLE/OCX stuff on 
windows, CORBA, or a more specific high performance approach) I still think is 
not so important; we could waste a huge amount of time arguing over HOW the 
events/methods are transfered. But I wholeheartedly agree the sets of {methods, 
events} should be standard.
Any hey .. anyone who would like to provide me with a DXF->VRML converter which 
runs on  {win*, Linux, SunOs4.3} .. please let me know. A trade involving 
bandwidth (or perhaps one swirl's new mundo cool flying plug-baby T-shirts) 
could be arranged ...
