VList Members:

This is a very heady time; from the "Day Zero" announcements last month, to
the WebSpace release 18 days ago, through the NEWSWEEK article - it's been
an amazing ride.

There's a lot more to come. VRML isn't done - it's just begun, in fact, and
while we may all be over-tired from sweating over 3D modeling programs and
conversion utilities that don't work quite right, that's no excuse for the
growing disregard of human feelings being portrayed on this list.

There's no need to single anyone out - and I've been just as bad as anyone
else, a cursory glance of the archives of this list will prove that - but I
do think that if we keep this nip-nip-nip up, we'll all hate each other, and
worse, be condemned to work with each other despite this. We're *all*
creating a VRML industry, a core VRML technology, and a VRML model of the world.

Right now, the world is looking to us. Let's set a good example.

If you must be impolite, please do it privately; public indiscretions
reflect poorly on the list, as well as the sender. If we degenerate into a
Balkanized wasteland of feuding and flaming, we'll have no one to blame but
ourselves.
