At present the process looks like this:

Get 3DS.

If you have an SGI: Run 3DS->IV. Run IV->VRML. Look at the pretty pictures.

If you don't have an SGI: Output to DXF. Run DXF->IV+IV->VRML via the
kindly provided Organic FTP site (pointers on TGS's home page). Look at
the pretty pictures.

At this point in space-time looking at the pretty pictures requires
having an SGI or an NT box. Very soon Windows 3.1 support will be
added, although no Mac support is going to be around for a while.
