Ohmigawd!
did I really say that!

I could hand wave and say that space aliens snuck into my place late
last night and did this as a part of operation mindrape - but the truth
is that I had come in from a night out and my sense of humor was a bit on
the wyrd side. I was the clueless one in the equation, failing to understand
that my odd word-associations really don't translate well to the normal world.

I really didn't mean to besmearch either Tony or Robert, I have tremendous
respect for both, and we all owe these guys for their efforts at getting
this VRML thang going.

This is the second time I've tripped over wording with Robert, and I really
need to remedy the situation. Please accept my profound apologies sir.

As a bit of an explanation, since you probably wonder what the hell is going
on with me in regard to these things. I have trouble with finding the right
words
to use in -ahem - extemporaneous circumstances, and when I don't take time to
think long and hard about it - well i tend to make unfortunate choices. when
I don't get a chance to immediately recognise that the choice was not quite
what
i wanted to say, I'm sorta stuck with it.

It is a result of fairly severe dyslexia. I can't tell my right from my
left, I can't edit text visually, and I think in pictures and feelings
rather than words
- they just aren't my major representational system. Sometimes I just pick
the wrong words to convey what i'm feeling or seeing and need to fish around
a bit before i find the right ones.

this does not excuse my bizarre sense of humor thats purely my responsibility.

OK, I'll go sit in the corner now.
