The first product, available in stores today, is the VR Clapper (TM). No
longer do you have to be near your computer to jump around in Virtual
Reality. Now, from the comfort of your bed, all you need to do is,
CLAP IN, CLAP OUT, the VR CLAPPER.
The first version supports the use of the VR CLAPPER to select links to
other worlds (or WWW Anchors). New versions will be released that allow
3-D tracking of your clapping, based on dolphinic sonar.
The next version of our software will allow for other inputs such as
tongue clucking, finger snapping (including of recognition left and right
hands for yaw control), toe snapping and underarm farts. Next generation
software to be introduced in 1996 is under the project code name HOKEY-POKEY.
The audio-based nature of these products removes traditional problems
with 3-D tracking devices.
SPEC
Let's do a VRML version of the Spec, right?!~!! At the least I'm thinking
that we should have links to the sample world, and also, say, links for
the basic nodes like Cone and Cylinder to worlds containing one of them.
(also, I've mentioned this a few times, that there seems to be an error
in the SpotLight node color parameter, which is listed as SFVec3f, not
SFColor)
Cheers,
Adrian (who thought he'd be able to download WebSpace for Win by now)
