WebSpace does not require any HTML browser to run. You can
surf through VRML scenes with just WebSpace running, no problem.

You had to load a file in initially, right? The URL you gave
to WebSpace to get it running is that BASE URL from which
relative links are resolved.

I agree with Gavin that the HTML browsers should be sending
the URL information to the VRML viewers.
