Mesa is *not* a Linux thing. It will compile on most platforms that support
X. I say most, but I don't know of any that it *won't* compile on.

E&S just announced that they will be selling an OpenGL GLX extension for Linux
and X to provide OpenGL support for standard video cards (+ their Freedom
series I imagine) for $79.95. Maybe this will bring a Linux VRML browser
that much sooner!
