And here's a quick way to make sure your server is pumping it out
properly:
if the file is at http://www.host.com/vrml/file.wrl, type the following
telnet www.host.com 80
HEAD /vrml/file.wrl HTTP/1.0
(two carriage returns)
and the server will spit back a bunch of information about the file (and
the server itself), one of which should be a Content-type: header.
This is also a good way to test if AddEncoding is working for gzipped
files. (That wasn't in this case, either)
