The Lightscape models are 2.5 to 12 megs in size. Lightscape's
radiosity renderings most likely use per-vertex coloring, which
will strain any software-based non-accelerated graphics display.

Because of the wide range of horsepower on the net, I suspect there
will always be sites with models that are "too large." Today's
software-based rapid rendering technologies like RenderWare,
RenderMorphics, and BRender should be able to handle worlds with
on the order of tens of thousands of polygons. Obviously, if
the polygon counts are low, these 3D scenes will "feel" better.
