SPEC - The skinny on Annotation Text

It's become clear that the direction we want to take with Annotation text of
the sort Len wants is to make nodes which orient themselves fixed with
respect to the camera. We have yet to design this node type; one issue in
particular that was raised was how a camera-oriented node behaves when the
viewpoint jumps to another camera.

I'm picking up the ball here and declaring this to be a post-1.0 feature.
For those of you who are dying for this feature, let's pick up the
discussion after the freeze of 1.0, and start building extension nodes to
flesh out the design.

BTW I'll be making a posting in the next hour which details how we get from
where we are to the real 1.0 spec. Watch your mailbox.
