I agree the name isn't quite right. fixed_orientation (to me)
signifies the object will not move! Therefore, how obout naming the
flag 'billboard' - this is a term familiar to most graphics
programmers. The other suggestion I have is 'followView' - this may
be more obvious to non-programmers.
