I note that there is a linux.tar file in this directory ...
grep does not reveal a main() ...
grep does not reveal any calls to OpenGL or to X11 ...

What, exactly, does this code do ... ?

Yes, I READ the README, but ... I didn't understand ...
If this was lex or yacc, maybe I could understand what it means
to "read a file" ... but ... ??
