Could anyone help me out on how to get the internet domain of my host
(using a system call/lib function). I know that getdomainname returns the
NIS domain, but that's not what I want.

Basically, I need to check if the given URL refers to the current host or
somewhere else (my slogan: No Robots Please!). Any other suggestion in this
regard?
