Because as you've said yourself it is useful in 99% of the cases,
and because it gives an idea of the location of the file which
also aids browsing. Then again, there are a nuber of people who
actually think it shouldn't be displayd in the browser.

get the <A HREF>complete 24M distribution</A>.
