Don't laugh -- MUDs are just a first cut at a simulated world (VR is
such an over-used term), and they don't necessarily have to be filled
with hacking and slashing. Indeed, I think you're about to find out
how good they can be for:
-- multiway chat,
-- simple user-interfaces,
and
-- development.
