Who said only paragraphs get struck from text? Obviously, you're
unfamiliar with corporate contracts... ;-) Seriously, though,
a word, a clause, a sentence, a name could be struck from a
contract or text or whatever.
Deletions are rarely limited to whole paragrapphs.
