Authoring Tools for WWW Courseware

I started working on my new job in the department for pedagogics and informatics
three days ago at the humboldt-university at berlin,
and I wanted to share some of my plans for the next year with you.

My interest is not so much developing concrete courseware for WWW,
but exploring the forms capability of the HTML version 2.0 for
interactive courseware, collecting experience and suggestions for
protocol extensions, server programming and writing dedicated authoring tools
for WWW courseware.

I would be happy to get information about server extensions to react
to the new forms capability with regard to education that others have made
before. I have the feeling, that this new mechanism holds for some
very exciting learning forms like group learning and dynamic simulations.
